Antania “Nia” Priester, MS, LBS, CAMS-II, CPC is a behavioral health leader, consultant, author, writer, speaker, Licensed Behavioral Specialist, and Certified Professional Coach committed to transforming how individuals, organizations, and communities' approach emotional wellness, leadership, and personal growth.
With more than two decades of experience spanning behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, residential treatment, outpatient services, managed care, and community-based programming, Nia has built a reputation as a trusted voice in emotional wellness and systems transformation. Her work bridges the gap between clinical expertise, strategic leadership, and real-world application helping individuals heal, professionals grow, and organizations create meaningful, lasting impact.
As the Founder and Principal Consultant of NIA Wellness Group, Nia provides consulting, training, coaching, program development, and wellness education designed to strengthen people, programs, and systems of care. She has developed innovative curricula, facilitated transformational workshops, and delivered presentations for colleges, churches, community organizations, and professional audiences on topics including emotional wellness, trauma, resilience, relationships, leadership, and personal transformation.
Nia is also an accomplished author and writer whose work explores emotional wellness, trauma, healing, identity, relationships, and life transitions. She is the author of Defenses: Getting Out of Emotional Prison and co-author of Diary of a Ready Woman 2. Her article, You Can’t Mix Seasonal People With Lifetime Expectations, was published in NIA Magazine, and she was featured on the cover of Pretty Women Hustle Magazine in June 2022.
Beyond consulting and speaking, Nia is the creator of therapeutic journals, guided resources, emotional wellness programs, and practical tools designed to help individuals strengthen emotional regulation, build resilience, and create lasting change. Her signature workshops and trainings challenge participants to move beyond survival mode and embrace intentional healing, growth, and transformation.
