NIA Wellness Group, LLC is led by Antania “Nia” Priester, a Licensed Behavioral Specialist, Certified Anger Management Specialist, Certified Professional Coach, and emotional wellness consultant with more than 25 years of experience across behavioral health, youth services (child welfare & juvenile justice), leadership development, and systems-level quality improvement.
Nia’s expertise extends beyond direct service into curriculum and program development, organizational consulting, and thought leadership. She develops structured emotional wellness programs and curricula designed for adoption across agencies, schools, residential settings, and community-based organizations, with a focus on creating sustainable, real-world impact.
Her professional experience spans residential treatment, juvenile justice, child welfare, outpatient behavioral health, managed care, and community-based programming, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of how emotional wellness must function across individuals, organizations, and systems of care.
In addition to her consulting work, Nia is an author and writer on emotional wellness and mental health, and the creator of therapeutic journals and guided resources designed to support personal growth and emotional regulation. She also facilitates workshops, trainings, and speaking engagements, and provides individual coaching focused on emotional wellness, identity, and life transitions.
Nia’s work is grounded in both clinical expertise and lived experience, allowing her to bridge the gap between understanding emotional wellness and applying it in meaningful, practical ways.
